Oglebayfest 2008 Exhibitor Information
Oglebayfest is the biggest and best festival in the greater Wheeling area. The Artist
Market’s goal is to attract the best artists and crafters from throughout the tri-state
region (and beyond) – and the Gourmet Market to attract the best specialty foods!
This year Oglebay Institute will be coordinating the Markets and jurying the show.
Oglebay Institute will be establishing high standards that each artist must meet to
be accepted, ensuring the integrity of the show. The Artist and Gourmet Markets
open the festival at noon on Friday, October 3. Saturday starts with the traditional
Oglebayfest parade and ends with fireworks. The festival events continue through
5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5.
The Markets are located behind the historic Oglebay Institute Mansion Museum.
Up & Coming Artist Program offers artists with little to no experience in exhibiting in festivals free booth space.
