Exhibits
Oglebay Institute's Stifel Fine Arts Center offers a year-round exhibit schedule that includes all aspects of art. Displaying the work of local, regional and national artists, these changing exhibitions provide a forum for creative expression while serving as a catalyst for the exchange of ideas, viewpoints and techniques.

Free and festive public receptions from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. on the opening day of each show.

Everyone’s Exhibit
August 11 - Sept. 17, 2011
One of the Valley’s most popular exhibits, Everyone’s highlights the talent of local artists. The public is asked to vote for best of show with prizes being awarded to winning artists.

 

West Virginia Juried Exhibition
September 30, 2011 - January 2, 2012
Presented by the West Virginia Division of Culture and History, the exhibition showcases the work of state artists and craftspeople and provides the public with a comprehensive view of art and craft activities in the state.

Holiday Art Gift Shop

Regional Student Art Exhibition

Glen Barnes

Painter and West Virginia native Glen Barnes brings his historical depictions of American history to the Stifel Center. Oils, watercolors and pastels inspire thought about the history, hardships and admiration of those who have gone before us.

Family Ties

Featuring the work Tess Carenbauer, Ellen Carenbauer-Hazera and Lam Tze Sheung - Family Ties showcases photography, installation art and digital media created by this talented family of artists with Wheeling roots.
