Educational Resources
Oglebay Institute is proud to offer educational resources to area students and teachers.

OI’s A+ Educational Programs are designed to meet curriculum guidelines for academic standards in history, science and art. Programs are available for all age groups and can be held on-site or in a field trip setting at one of Oglebay Institute’s facilities.

The support to Education Means Success (GEMS) program brings financial underwriting to schools that would like to participate in Oglebay Institute’s educational programming but lack sufficient funding. Through GEMS, Oglebay Institute provides schools and organizations with tools and guidance to fundraise.

Mission Ground Truth: 21 is designed to supplement the 7th and 8th grade science curricula of West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania. The program is designed as a portable contract educational experience or a multi day experience at the Schrader Center and is available in distance learning format.
