Learn to make paperweights that contain colorful and interesting twists, swirls and flowers. Learn how to gather, re-heat and shape glass under the guidance of a Glassworker. No experience necessary. Limited to four registrants.

Beginning Glassworking Adult March 25-

$120/$100 OI members 11am – 4pm

Scheduled One Week In Advance
Emphasis will be on learning glassworking basics including tools, equipment, terminology and studio safety. Learn how to gather, re-heat and shape molten glass. Make at least two paperweights and other free-form pieces as time allows. No glassworking experience is required. Glass Museum. Bob Allen & Taylor Kelly, instructors.

Students who have completed a Beginning Glassworking Class are invited to build on their basic skills and learn to use molds and blowpipes. Basic glassworking skills are required. Glass Museum. Bob Allen, instructor.
