Class Registration Information

Register early to avoid disappointment because your class is full! Registrations will be processed in the order received. No spaces will be held without the full payment of fee. Students who register by mail or fax should assume acceptance unless otherwise notified.

4 Easy Ways to Register

By Telephone - Telephone Registrations with credit card payment only, can be made by calling the department hosting the activity or event. Visa and Mastercard will be accepted. Please have your account number and expiration date ready when you call.

By Fax - Fax your completed registration form with credit card information to 304.242.7747.

By Mail - Return the completed registration form to: Oglebay Insitute; Stifel Fine Arts Center, 1330 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26003 - Make checks payable to Oglebay Institute.

In Person - You may register in person at any one of the four Oglebay Institute facilities.

Cancellations & Refunds

Oglebay Institute is committed to offering a wide variety of courses. As a result, there are classes that have to be canceled due to insufficient enrollment. In such cases, our staff will notify students no later than 48 hours before the class begins and the full course fee will be refunded. Oglebay Institute reserves the right to substitute instructors.

For participants to cancel and receive a full refund, they must call the facility and cancel at least 48 hours before the class begins. Participants who cancel with less than 48 hours notice will receive a credit for 50% of all fees paid. This credit may be used toward other events offered by that facility. However, no refunds or credits will be issued once a class begins.

Class Information

• Classes will be filled in the order registrations are received (most classes have maximum and minimum registration numbers).
• It is the responsibility of the participant to appear in class on the correct day and hour without additional notice.
• You may be pictured in promotional materials (including the newspaper) for Oglebay Institute.
