Summer Dance and Vocal Intensive Join us for four days of concentrated study with exceptional instructors who bring the knowledge, motivation and expectations of the professional world of dance and music. Upon completing this summer intensive, students will be inspired to new heights of accomplishment.
June 26-29
9am - 5pm • Entering Grade 1 – Entering Grade 12
Fee: $250 (plus $10 for T-shirt)
Students must attend all 4 days. Registration must be received by June 1, 2012.
Participants will rotate through the following disciplines:
Jazz/Contemporary with Dr. Yoav Kaddar, Director of the Dance Program at West Virginia University’s School of Theatre & Dance
Modern dance with Donald Laney of the West Virginia Dance Company
Jazz with Michael Garber from InnerRhythm Studio of Dance in Clarksburg, WV
Learn techniques of vocal production including pitch, rhythm, intonation, style and diction as it applies to a variety of musical genres
