THE MUSEUMS OF OGLEBAY INSTITUTE - The Mansion Museum and Glass Museum at Oglebay. The Mansion has 13 period rooms, the Wymer General Store and Sinclair Pharmacy collections. The Glass Museum houses the Northwood Gallery and the Sweeney Punch Bowl.

GLASSBLOWING DEMONSTRATIONS & WALK-IN WORKSHOPS Available daily through October 4 at the Glass Museum. For additional viewing times call 304.242.7272.

The Mansion and Glass Museum are open to the public daily from 10am-5pm.

October 1-11 DRESSING WHEELING FROM THE INSIDE OUT: 1840-1910 - Exhibit chronicles women’s fashions during the Victorian era and includes many of the finest dresses from the Museums’ collection. Exhibit continues through October 11.
October 2, 9 FASHION FRIDAYS - 9 - 10am at the Mansion Museum. Includes admission to the Mansion & Glass Museums and an exclusive tour the Mansion Museum’s Dressing Wheeling from the Inside Out exhibit. View artifacts not on display to the general public, try on outfits from a “dress up trunk” and receive a group photo to commemorate your visit. $15 per adult, $5 per child; $6 adult/$3 child with wristbands.
