ASIAN GARDENS OF THE 1920S: THE TRAVELS OF ELIZABETH K. ROYS - Exhibit features photographs and observations by Smith College botany student Elizabeth Roys when she toured Asia in the 1920s. The exhibit highlights temple, palace, private, working-class, and ruined gardens in China, Japan, Korea, Thailand and India and explores their differing cultural conceptions of the garden.
