September 1-5 PAINT YOUR OWN POTTERY - Available 10am - 4pm Wed. - Sat.; noon - 4pm Sun. Choose from several shapes to paint or glaze. Pieces must be left overnight to dry. $15-$25 depending on piece.
September 1 BUTTERFLY WATCH - Study butterfly species in the Corson Wildflower and Butterfly Garden. Wednesdays, 10am at the Schrader Center. $3, free for OI members or with wristbands.

September 4 NATURE SCAVENGER HUNTS - Discover more about the natural world as you explore the Schrader Center and Oglebay Park as a family. Receive your pack and complete the scavenger hunt to receive a prize. Program ongoing, noon-4 p.m. at the Schrader Center. Free and open to the public.

THE MUSEUMS OF OGLEBAY INSTITUTE - The Mansion Museum and Glass Museum at Oglebay. The Mansion has 13 period rooms, the Wymer General Store and Sinclair Pharmacy collections. The Glass Museum houses the Northwood Gallery and the Sweeney Punch Bowl.

GLASSBLOWING DEMONSTRATIONS & WALK-IN WORKSHOPS Available daily at the Glass Museum.

The Mansion and Glass Museum are open daily from 10am-5pm.
