Oglebay Institute is looking for qualified individuals capable
of instructing
a variety of community-based classes within its departments.
Areas in which the non-profit arts, museums and nature organization
seeks to expand include:
Dance, including yoga (certified instructor preferred), aerobics (certified instructor preferred), Irish Step Dance and Ethnic Dance.
Visual Arts, including children’s art activities, introductory applied arts, garden design, folk arts and crafts.
Performing Arts, including small instrumental ensemble, small vocal ensemble, opera/musical theatre, music appreciation, digital audio, theatre appreciation and culinary arts.
A collection for other asset with a qualifying appraised value. We recommend that the gift be discussed in advanced for suitability
Museum studies, including decorative arts and local history topics.
Environmental Education, including pre-school programs, organic
gardening, lawncare, ecotrips, and general life, earth, and environmental
science topics.
